12/22/05 - U.S. SPORT AVIATION EXPO COMING SOON!

The countdown is on again for the hurricane-delayed U.S. Sport Aviation Expo set for January 12-15, 2006, at the Sebring Regional Airport, Sebring, Florida. Expo Manager Bob Wood says that final preparations are underway for the four-day event, with nearly 100 exhibitors registered and some 64 forums scheduled. Forum topics range from advice on purchasing a light-sport aircraft (LSA) to obtaining insurance and flight instruction.

EAA will have a sizable contingent on hand, including: Katrina Bradshaw, director of membership and advertising; Mary Jones, editor, EAA Sport Pilot & Light-Sport Aircraft magazine; Dan Johnson, EAA SP/LSA marketing consultant; Jim Koepnick, EAA chief photographer; Tammy Nowland, marketing and advertising coordinator; Rusty Sachs, executive director of the National Association of Flight Instructors (NAFI); and Ron Wagner, EAA field relations manager.

Stop by the EAA Membership Tent to visit with staff members, join or renew your membership, or learn more about a sport pilot certificate or light-sport aircraft. Bob Mackey of Falcon Insurance will also be available on behalf of the EAA Aircraft Insurance Plan to answer your LSA insurance-related questions.
