Question :
Can I buy homebuilt LSA aircraft and register under my name? Can I convert my homebuilt fat ultralight to LSA and then sell it to someone else?

Answer :
The answer to both questions is "yes". You can purchase and then sell an existing homebuilt aircraft, whether it meets the LSA definition or not. Also, you can convert an exsiting unregistered "fat" ultralight to ELSA category, then sell the aircraft to another owner.
